CiviCommand is the core component of our platform and provides an intuitive multi-touch interface for scenario management. At the heart of CiviCommand is a complex routing, provisioning, messaging and caching infrastructure designed to operate in challenging circumstances where cell networks are inconsistent or partially available.

Additionally, CiviCommand also has an HTTP-based service interface capable of publishing event information out to partner systems in JSON, XML, NMEA and KML formats.

CiviCast is our civilian focused smartphone platform for receiving notifications, routing updates and points of interest information. In addition to receiving data, CiviCast also broadcasts back location information every 30 seconds to CiviCommand.

CiviCast has a layered architecture allowing the same platform to be rapidly adapted for a variety of civilian-focused roles. Data collection, event reporting, data recognition, augmented reality and other media rich use-cases are capable of execution on this platform.

CiviCast is being targeted built for the iPhone and Android platforms initially, with Palm Pre and Blackberry versions following after.
